My first time eating Turkish fare and I came away impressed. Initially we came in on valentines day and were turned away due to not having a reservation. The head of house came out immediately and told us they could seat us in 30 minutes. Which was perfect. We were seated and greeted by our server. We ordered baba ghanoush as our appetizer which was sweet and delicious. It was also served with lentil soup. Everything was served swiftly and kindly. Portion sizes are more than adequate. The service was awesome. 3 servers each individually asked if we needed anything. Highly recommend if you haven't tried it, you should!

Our daily mission to choose something new for dinner lead us to Café Turkuaz. We were warmly greeted and immediately seated. We chose floor seating. The staff were all so friendly and helpful with assisting us with food choices. As an appetizer, we had Sarma. It was quite tasty. They also served us Lentil soup which was smooth and perfectly seasoned. I ordered a serving of Turkish coffee. It was awesome. For the entrees, we ordered Lamb Pide and a Lamb Kebab. The bread on the Lamb Pide was so freaking amazing and complimented the topping so well. The lamb kebab was tender. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. 10 out of 10, we do recommend that you give this place a try.

We came here during graduation week, the place was packed. The food was definitely average, but maybe that's because we camd from NJ. Where the Mediterranean cuisine is so fine. We got the dips, baba ganoush, nothing to complain, but nothing special at all. Lamb kebabs were good though. Soft and moist. Dessert was very average. It was baklava and it was so average that I would say don't bother ordering. Store bought baklava is much better. However the winner was the ambience. Floor sitting with cushions.
